CUP Alum Drafted #1 Overall in the 2017 NWSL Draft

CUP alum Rose Lavelle was selected as the number one pick in the NWSL draft by the Boston Breakers. Congratulations to this Cincinnati native and former CUP player on a historic moment for our club and city. We are proud of you!

"What an amazing accomplishment for Rose," said Bobby Puppione, CUP Girls Director of Coaching. "She absolutely deserves this because she has put the work in throughout her years as a youth player, national team player, and student athlete at Wisconsin. We can't wait to watch her continue to excel as she takes on the NWSL and international soccer."
