Cincinnati United Mourns the Loss of Coach Kevin Zins

Cincinnati United Soccer Club mourns the loss of long time club coach and member Kevin Zins. Kevin passed away Sunday evening, April 2 after battling cancer for the last year and a half. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
Kevin coached for Cincinnati United for several years across various age groups. He was passionate about coaching children and the sport. Kevin impacted hundreds of players lives who loved playing for him. He taught life lessons to all his players, encouraging them to give their best effort and instilling a hard working attitude in every single one of them. Kevin was a man of selfless, kind hearted action. He always put the needs of his players, their parents, and his fellow coaches, ahead of his own.
Kevin is survived by his wife Traci (Welage), sons Jared, Luke and Ethan, parents Pete and Kathy, sisters Karen Carlin and Steph Shroyer, and brother David. He is also survived by nieces Blair, Sami, Kayley and Chloe, nephews Brett, Cam, Spencer, Sumner, Casey and Jack, numerous in-laws including Dave Carlin, Stu Shroyer, Jon Welage, Brian Welage and Lori Dent, many devoted aunts, uncles and cousins, and countless dear friends.
