“The Loveland Youth Soccer Association (LYSA) is pleased to announce a partnership with Cincinnati United Soccer (CU) that brings together the top coaching and player development program in the state with one of the largest SAY programs in Cincinnati. LYSA is pleased to be taking part in the CU Recreational Outreach program which is committed to providing unsurpassed training for area SAY coaches and continued development opportunities for LYSA players. As LYSA heads into it's 35th year we are confident that this partnership ensures the continued success of the LYSA program for the many years to come.”
- Sean Klopfenstein, Loveland Youth Soccer Association Vice President

“Cincinnati United is honored to have the Loveland Youth Soccer Association as a part of our partnership. We each share a common vision for our responsibilities in serving the kids of our community. Loveland is full of great tradition and thousands of participants who love the game as we do. Cincinnati United is absolutely committed to providing a program that will offer coaching education support designed specifically to accommodate the needs of volunteer recreational coaches across all of the communities in northern Cincinnati such as Loveland. Our Recreational Outreach Partners share a vision of partnership, which will prepare their coaches with all of the resources they need to coach their recreational teams.”

CU Announces OSYSA Recreational Coach of the Year Nominations

Cincinnati United is proud to announce each of our Recreational Outreach Partners nominations for the Ohio South Youth Soccer Recreational Coach of the Year. Each of these coaches embodies the spirit of volunteerism that is the driving force behind the success of recreational soccer in our communities. Each has given back to the game and to children throughout the community in a way that deserves a celebration and recognition of their commitment, and the admiration of Cincinnati United. To read further, please click on the names of each nominee below to learn more about what they have given.

Ian Petko-Bunney, Greater Sycamore Soccer Association |nomination|
Jim Brown, Lakota Sports Organization |nomination|
Tim Dicke, Madeira Youth Soccer |nomination|
Mike Simpson, Monroe Soccer Association |nomination|
Tom Murley, West Chester Soccer Club |nomination|

Cincinnati United
is proud to announce the successful results of our second CU Convention. The CU Convention was a cooperative effort between our Recreational Outreach Partners (Lakota Sports Organization, Monroe Soccer Association, Madeira Soccer, GSSA SAY, and West Chester Soccer Club) and Cincinnati United, managed by the Directors and Staff of Cincinnati United Soccer Club.

With nearly 100 coaches attending, the education at the clinic will impact over 1,500 kids.

When considering the attendance of all of the Outreach Program clinics and both conventions over the past year and a half, we have had over 300 coaches attend. The program could quite possibly have impacted 5,000 kids in that period of time! To review specifics about the convention, please follow this link:

The vision of the Cincinnati United Recreational Outreach Program is guided by three key principles…

  • To provide a program that will offer coaching education support that is unmatched in our region. This support will be designed specifically to accommodate the needs of volunteer recreational coaches across all of the communities in northern Cincinnati.
  • To cultivate relationships with organizations that share a vision of partnership, which will prepare their coaches with all of the resources they need to coach recreational teams.
  • To develop associations with recreational programs who want a partner that can provide a trusted avenue to select soccer for interested players and coaches, and who will communicate this to their membership.

Thanks to all who made this happen. It is the springboard that has launched our Recreational Outreach Program into the best coaching education support program in Ohio.
