Michael Litvack Hired as New CU Lakota-Monroe DOC

Cincinnati United Soccer Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Litvack as Director of Coaching of Cincinnati United Lakota Monroe.  Litvack joins CU from the Chicago area where we competed as a youth player and most recently was a coach and director.
“CU is very lucky to get a soccer junkie like Michael," said Executive Director Scott Rodgers.  "He will bring us great energy and passion but most of all a lot of experience. Michael fits in really well with our current staff and will help bring our club some new ideas and programs.”
As a youth player, Litvack played for Chicago Magin/Soccer, where he won multiple state cup titles and advances to multiple regional championship finals.  Following his storied youth career, he played at Ohio Wesleyan University under head coach Jay Martin, the current leader for most wins by any college coach.  After OWU, Litvack went overseas to tryout with professional clubs before returning to the United States to begin coaching.  When he returned, he still competed by playing for the Chicago Storm professional indoor team along with some semi-pro men's teams.
He has a USSF "C" License and also his USYS National Youth License.  His coaching background includes staff coaching positions at nationally known clubs Chicago Magic and Eclipse Select Soccer Club.  He was also an assistant Boys Director at Eclipse and the Director of Select for FC 1974 in Libertyville, IL.
Some of his coaching accomplishments include multiple state cup titles and finalist finishes, two USYS regional finalists, one regional championship, one USYS national finalist, one US Club national finalist, and has coached multiple MRL and National League teams.

“CU-Lakota/Monroe is extremely excited to add Michael to our already capable team,” said CU Lakota Monroe site Vice-President Chris Schuppe.  “Michael brings excellent experience coaching in a very competitive market in Chicago and will provide a fresh perspective to our site along with a tremendous passion for the game.  Michael will be working closely with our other DOCs in Lakota Monroe and also across the silos to drive consistency wherever possible.  Please join me in welcoming him and supporting him and his family in this transition.”
Litvack is married to Megan Litvack and has two children, Cooper, 4, and Harper, 2.  The family has a dog and Litvack considers himself a family man and a soccer junkie.
He will run the CU Lakota Monroe site along with current DOC Reed Maltbie and assistant DOC Paul Rockwood.
